A Calliope Don Our friend from the Sunny South is an example ofthe kind that get there by being eternally at it. He has been more than faithful to his literary society. One thing that we may say with certaintye-whatever he is, his roommate is Ditto, Not being able to accuse him of any particular Sem coi1nections,we conclude that he loves some pretty gal, way down in Mobile. A solemn youth with sober phiz NVho eats his grub and minds his bizz. Earl Read Scheffel, B. s.
