Denison VS. Sherman . . . l A Battle for the Axe! Spirits were high September 8-12, Sherman week. The students were anxiously anticipating the outcome of the annual DenisonfSherman game. The pep ralley that day was the best, spirit wise, all year. At Mun- son Stadium, the stands were filled with Yellow jacket supporters cheer- ing the jackets on to yet another victory over Sherman with a final score of 31-0. After the game, fans poured onto the field to show the jackets they loved them.
