Kendall McKinley, second runner up was escorted by D lan Stafford at the pep rally, ri ht. Mr. Gien Rich, Beth, Mr. Ierry Hatfielfd, Gina Hatfield, Mr. Mike v 'H V McKinley and Kendall pose after the 'Q crowning ceremony at Munson Stadium. ln spite of cloudy skies and showers that preceeded homecomin activities, the imp M, nominees were presented on the field to a m large, vocal crowd of fans. Each girl and her fat er paused while her accomplishments and school activities were announced. The HN jf first and second runners up were announc- 321, ed and the winner crowned by Student Council president Stafford. For the first time in three years it did not rain on the homecoming parade held Thursday. , 9' 51 IT'S COLD OUT HERE - The top ten nominees Shawnna White, Rebecca Terry, Kendall McKinley, Christy Holland, Michelle Martinda Tiffany Myers, Gina Hatfield, Beth Glass, Gale Gainey and Marla Barnhill, blanketed against the cold night, watch the first half oft homecoming game from their platform on the field. Hatfield is 1986-87 Homecoming Queen As the band played the song, Words Get in the Way, Gina Hatfield was named the 1986-87 Homecoming Queen. She is the daughter of jerry and judy Hatfield. Hatfield is Senior Class president, Spanish Club vice president and Den-teens vice president. Other clubs that she is associated with are United Service Club, Student Council and Fellowship of Christian Athletes. Hatfield has been junior, sophomore and freshman class favorite, and has also been a trainer for the varsity football team for the past two years. Seniors selected ten homecomin nominees from a list of all senior girls. Students from all grades votejby Scantron ballot for their choice after the homecoming pep assembly. More than 40 organizations chose sweetheart and escort representatives for the celebration. All were presented to the large homecoming crowd at the football game.
