18 Let's Get It Together!-Students dance to everything from the Cotten-eyed Joe to Rock 'n Roll. Footloose By Laura Goforth After those exhilarating football games, students gathered at the Boys Club dances to wear off all that extra energy. The Student Council sponsored the dances as victory celebrations for the Jackets and their fans. These nights were special to many. They were a time to laugh and have fun with friends. Hho, He?-Jamie Fennell wonders who is calling his name at an aftergame dance. Activities He Hon It-Richie Stein and Tiffany Myers pose to say, We did it, we beat Sherman! Let's Dance-Ex-student Ronald Wilson, D.J., encourages all to get up and dance.

By Roger Hanson Yes, that wild bunch of Christian Athletes was actually spitting watermelon seeds! FCA sponsored a watermelon party for fellow ath- letes who were interested in joining the club Students got together, had a good time and even participated in a seed spitting con- test. Later the some evening, Student Council sponsored a car smash which gave students a chance to really smash a car in honor of Sherman week.
