Tommy Davis has a bit of catching up to do. 21 Activities Life as a Student Council Member This year was the first to have a homeroom especially for Student Council members, which Mrs. Sylvia McBrayer sponsors. They sponsor many fund raising projects such as selling pictures of people with San- ta Claus, and selling little plastic Christmas ornaments. A First- A Student Council homeroom has turn- ed out quite a success, which is proven by how much has been accomplished. Pictured are Mrs. McBrayer and Jeff Augustine. Cheers - A Friendship Banquet, held at Sher- man High School, brought the two rival schools together. Lori Ruble toasts Gina Taul and Brad White for good luck.

Twirp Week Gives Girls Chance to Ask Dates Twirp Week was sponsored by the United Service Club and was designed to turn the tables on who pays for the date. The week's events included bowling, out to din- ner, to the show, go-carting, and a football game. Monday started the week with bowling at the A-1 Bowling Lanes. Tuesday was going to the movies while Wednesday was taking him out to dinner. Thursday was going go- carting and Friday was the usual Friday night football game. Twirp-O-Grams were sold by Hanson's Headaches which are singing telegrams asking that special someone out for a date. LA..LA..LA.. Twirp-O-Grams were sold by Han- son's Headaches during homeroom. Wade Graves receives a singing invitation. Activities SMILE. . . Kim McCorkle treats Glenn Creswell to a movie for Twirp week. STRIKE . .. Tina Smith concentrates on writing down the correct bowling scores as the game progresses.
