Activities erdoa Activities Spark Year The Student Council went to State Convention this summer at Texas Christian University. The l Council went to get new ideas on how they could improve the club. The President this year was Tom Thomas, Vice President was Bret Arm- strong, Treasurer was Jeff Augistine, Secretary was Jodi Michel, Pam Listvan was recording secretary and Reporter was Mike Wetchsky. CHEESE - Lisa Thompson, Tina Huntoon, Pam Lisavan, Brenda Butler, Susan Taylor kicked off the year with the Stingerettes annual initiation held in August. Signin' - Jimmy Staples and Brian Hales look on as Tiffany Roland signs their green hand for Ag. initiation. Activities Initiation Kicks Off Club Year Initiation is an important part of being in an organization. Junior Stingeretts had to dress in funny costumes and walk up and down Armstrong around the Sonic and go in downtown shops. Ag initiates had to walk around school with green hands around their necks. In the Band Hall sophomores and new band members had to duck walk, wear crazy signs for a week and do whatever senior band members told them to do. Initiation is a part of old time tradition.
