Traditionally, the Yellow Jacket Annual Staff dedicates the yearbook to a person who makes a major contribution to Denison Senior High School. It is very difficult to select a single individual from among the hundreds of people who daily give their work and talent toward making DHS the best school community it can possibly be -an environment and atmosphere where every student has an opportunity to develop his potential and where teachers and staff may work to fully realize their career goals. The person we honor shows enthusiasm, a genuine concern for each individual, a keen sense of humor and leadership qualities that inspire the best in us all. It is with pride that we dedicate the 1976 Yellow Jacket Annual to Coach Jim Kazmierski. Coach Kaz is a man of pride and integrity. He represents the Spirit of '76 that has made America successful from 1776 to 1976. Whether studying the football team's performance, top left, or doing a '50's number with Bevin England for the Y-Teen Style Show, below, Coach Kaz is involved. Editor Charley Thomas presented him with a gift, and clapping hands, lower left, applaud the Annual dedication at the moment it was announced. 5
