VAC Fulfills Student Needs The vocational adjustment program enables students to receive both academic and vocational training so that graduation is possible and students may obtain jobs. Learning how to complete an application, learning how to get along with fellow employees, developing self-assurance, and taking pride in doing a job well is emphasized in the co-op program. Students unable to attend school may still earn credits through the homebound program. Homebound teachers bring work to students and carry the completion of it to school. Mrs. Kathy Williams (a) began teaching in the middle of the school year. She is shown looking at exhibits from the Arts and Crafts Fair. She has earned a B.S. from ETSU. Mrs. Jo Ann Mayberry (b) has a B.S. from Huston-Tillotson, she is a homebound teacher. Mrs. Slyvia Walker (c), former homebound teacher has a B. S. from Howard Payne.
