Student Council, an organization of students elected by each homeroom represents the student body as a whole. Members voice the ideas and opinions of the students at meetings and work to turn ideas into reality. The Council sponsors many activities such as the March of Dimes hold-up. Spirit Week, dances, and the Free Fare Concert. At Christmastime they wrapped candies and took them to rest homes. During football season the Council printed good sportsmanship cards and handed them out to visitors in an effort to promote good sportsmanship. Representatives are (front row) Cheryl Smith, Natalie Brown, Becky Fisher, Janie Reddick, Julie McBride, Debbie Petty, (back row) Marty Long, Tommy Miller, Terry Curry, Clifton Crowell, Darrell Dobbs, and Eddie Blankenship.
