Helping Themselves By Serving Qtliers The Library Club has proved to be a helpful addition to Denison Senior High School. The club has been organized tor three years and is increasing rapidly in membership, as well as in interest. This year the group attended district meetings, where they met other teen-age librarians and discussed various ways of improving the school libraries. The solution of these prob- lems has enabled the members of the club to better serve the student body. stiig Art Is lasting The purpose of the Art Club is to aid the student in developing his creative ability in the field of art. Among the projects of the club are learning to recognize the names of the world's masterpieces in art, to know the painter of each, and working out individual projects, many of which are entered in various state and national contests. Training On The Job The Distributive Education Club is composed ot students interested in learning salesmanship. Through the co-operation of local merchants 'these students are allowed to obtain actual experience through holding jobs and at the same time attend school half a day. Attending the state convention and giving a banquet tor their employers are among the activities of the club.
