For example, they no longer have to listen to snide upper- classmen comments about be- ing freshmen. I like being a sophomore be- cause you're not called a little freshman anymore, said Kim Bourgeois. Sophomores are also able to choose more electives and may participate in junior varsity athletics. Being a sophomore also means that you're included more in school activities, said Mary Williams. I like it because it means I'm one step closer to graduation, said Ashley Wall.
