The Future Business Leaders of America is a youth organization of all business and office education students who meet the require- ments for membership. The organization seeks to develop competent, aggressive business leadership and strengthen the confidence of young men and women in themselves and their work. Through various pro- grams, the members are provided an opportunity to create more in- terest and understanding in the intelligent choise of business occupa- tions. ln planning and preparing for district meetings and state con- ventions the members are given many opportunities to participate in cooperative effort, to improve scholarship and promote school loyalty. 99751 President--Nena Edwardsg V. The FHA Club is made up of students enrolled in home econom- ics or have had one year in the course. Both boys and girls are eligible to join. ln FHA we work to build a better future for ourselves and to learn to help others. We learn to share experiences and to better our ways of living through various chapter experience. ln our FHA activities we are always looking toward new horizons, which is our motto To find ways of getting along with others and finding new and better ways to accept challenges which may face us . First, we work to encourage the use of French outsi de of the class- room. During the year we have several planned activities which aid this purpose. Among these are the singing of French carols at Christmas time and the presentation of a French play at school. Second, we try to pro- mote a general interest in foreign language. Third, we want to increase our understanding of French culture, so we plan to travel in the latter part of the year.
