SCHULZ relieved Captain S. O0 BACH onboard DENEBOLA at U.S. Naval Station, Rota, Spaino DENEBOLA returned to Norfolk on 18 November and entered a leave and upkeep period extending through the Christmas and New Year'e holidayso During this period, DENEBOLA was given an Administrative Inspection by Commander Service Souadron FOURQ the results of which yielded her a grade of OUTSTANDINGQ Durhng 1967, DENEBOLA participated in four major logistic reple e ishmentsg two in support of the UQSO SIXTH Fleeta and two in support of the Caribbean R sdy Groups She replenished 100 ships and two naval stations and transferred a total of 3916 tons of cargoo In addition to her regularly assigned duties, inspectio s, and exercises, DEMEBOLA feu d time to train a total of 70 U.S. Naval Reser, vists onboard for their annual two week training, hold two ship's parties participate in Norfolkqs Culinary Art Show, and win the NEY Awardo On lk April?
