' Our group organized a Citizenship Club at the beginning of the year,I945 I946 Our aim in this was to encourage us in becoming better citizens and to learn through practice how to conduct a meet ing correctly Each of us served as an officer or members of a C0m11tt6B Each one of our Group Joined the Junior Red Cross at the beglnning of the year We filled a Christmas box for the wounded soldiers It was.ma1l ed to McGuire Hospital,Richmond,Virginia One educa tional box was filled from our room to be sent to the chlldren of Europe through the Junior Res Cross Our boys and ,1F1S participated 1h several other activities Among them were Clothing Drive,darch of Dimes, T B Seal Cale, Patrick Henry Memorial Foun One of the hi-hspots of the school year was a Valentine Party given by our room mother, Mrs G L Qavedge,Jr We had a most enJoyable time and a - plenty of eats Mrs B F Hux, Teacher , Mrs G L SavedLe,Jr , Room mother - 3 if 2' .
