The thirty members recently took a visit to the Cranbrook Institute of science. Scientific experiments con- stitute further activities. The successful mo- ney making enterprises carried on by the Home Economics Club this year have consisted of selling potato chips and peanuts at football games, super- vising a bake sale, and sponsoring the sale of fruit cakes, which amounted to 375 pounds. Members of the club were hostesses for a city wide Home Eco- nomics Club's Christmas Party, Decem- ber 17. The Denby S al e s Club is in charge of sales for all school activities and functions. For the most part the sales are carried on through representatives appointed for each re- cord. Good salesmanship is stressed for membership.
