After basking in the desert sun they are off to France and the French chateau of Mr. and Mrs. Bruce Murphy- Mrs. Murphy was the former Carole Heans. It seems that Bruce is in show business and doing well. Next stop for Don and Ruth is England where they attend a show at the Palladium. Among the society crowd are Alan and Marlys Dick. Alan is working with Scotland Yard on the murder of a wealthy society widow. One more stop for the Tarvins before heading home is New York City where they visit Doug Cunningham who is the head of an exclusive department store and at the moment is busy selling womens lingerie. Doug invites them over to see his adorable little Maxine, in their penthouse apartment. Don and Ruth have had a long tiring trip so they head for the' home in Alaska where Don is a uranium prospector. They are a bit surprised but pleased that their classmates are getting along so well in this wide wide world.
