Mrs. Nh 's r 1 The theme of this year s EL COYOl'E1s Futuria In these uncertain times a lot depends on our good Judgment and fortitude Vve are faced with world problems which have never had to be undertaken in years before The world is divided into two distinct factions the freedom and peace loving peoples versus the dicta torial and enslaved peoples of the world Untilrecently these forces of evil have gone un checked They have gained a large percentage of the world's population and land through which look to us peaceful ways Now we see they are willing to go to outright armed aggression to gain power and to test the free world to see how long we could take it. We are through with our former policy of appease- ment. We are standing up and we are willing to fight to preserve freedom and all it stands for. We shall take no more of this tyranny. Whathappens now sets the pace for the future and as we, the young men and women come out of high schoolinto this vastworld, we see that the rest of the world is watching us and counting on us to make the next move which will determine the future of the world. 2 mmf I I ' . 1' 'ff I !
