Dv CLUB The boys and girls of Deming High w ho so willingly took your money in exchange for a red or blue ribbon were the spirited members of the D-Club. The lettermen this vear have been more active than in previous years and have earned money to help pav for the football scoreboard bought several vears ago bv sponsoring an enchilada supper which brought a profit of 515913. 'lihey planned to give a banquet and formal with the remaining money they accumulated from the presentation of a well-attended sock-hop. The officers showed much ingenuity in the money-making campaigns that were so successful. President Manuel De La 0. vice president Tommy Pearson. and secretarv Lily Gomez are not the only ones to be commended on their initiative. The members have expressed their loyalty by their participation in all activities which the D-Club has sponsored during the year. Page 85
