OAi£WTYSUPPl,ES Drinks When in Doubt.. PARTY! With Mrs. King and Mrs. Allison as sponsors, it isn't hard to believe that the Class of '88 was always doing something. We probably had more fund Raisers than any senior class in Deming's history; pizza party dances, the womanless beauty pageant, a carwash, the list goes on without end. Of course, while work has its rewards, all work and no play makes Jack a dull boy. And we did play. We always found something to celebrate, and it never took very long. If all else failed, we could always celebrate the day of the week. What, it's Tuesday ... Every special occasion demanded a classy social at the Allison residence. The class also experienced the rewards of Christmas caroling at Mrs. King's house, then shared by a special foreign friend. And the '87 Prom? Never Say Goodbye was a smash, out-classed by none. Our senior year brought with it much more than just hanging around. Grad Nite at King's Island was the perfect example of what we could do when we put our minds to something. In the spirit of all of the food we have fixed for other people over the years, we finally decided it was time to serve ourselves; and we did just that with a Senior Cookout at the ballpark the day after prom. With everything we did, one would begin to wonder how much time we actually spent in the classroom. Even with our advanced knowledge of mathematical concepts, we couldn't begin to calculate that. We did take every available opportunity to enhance the educational process, even if it reauired acts of generosity to suspicious chemistry teachers. Clever? No, just a heavy case of senioritis.
