Eric Dryden died of injuries he received when the bicycle he was riding was struck by o cor. Eric, son of Harold and Shirley Dryden. was born on August 24. 1966 and attended Deming High School through the fifth grade, until his family moved to Carlisle. Kentucky. Eric's accident occurred before he enrolled at Nicholas County. Eric's classmates remember him as an outgoing, friendly boy who was a natural athlete. He loved the outdoors, so baseball and swimming were his favorite sports. His love for sports was equalled only by his love for horses. Eric frequently rode, and enjoyed collecting miniature horses. Eric was a vital part of our class and of our lives, a part we will not easily forget. 2
