This somehow symbolizes our forthcoming graduation scheduled for May 27, 1971. Soon the winter snows will melt away—and then with the burst of spring, we will be leaving torever the portals of our Alma Mater. As we go we will carry with us a host of memories which you, our parents, have helped us to accumulate during the past twelve years spent here at Deming School. In recognition of the fact that it is you, Mom and Dad, who have contributed so vastly to our fourfold development, we, hereby, dedicate this, our 1970-71 Deming Devil, to you. Truly, you have provided amply for our physical needs, even as you have fostered our mental, spiritual, and social growth. For this we shall be eternally grateful. Sincerely, Seniors ’70-’71 THANKS!!! MOM AND DAD THE BEGINNING OF OUR GROWTH IS SIMILAR TO THE GROWTH OF A TREE. A TREE FORMS MANY BRANCHES WHILE WE FORM MANY BRANCHING INTERESTS.
