After a period of ten years, Helen Cole and Joan Linvllle meet accidently at the Waldorf-Astoria Hotel, New York City, in the year 1964. The following conversation takes place in a hotel suite. Joan: Isn’t it wonderful our being together after all these years ? Haven't 1 seen your picture in the paper recently? Oh. here it is In the NEW YORK TIMES. Helen: By the way, I see an article about you in the paper also. Let’s put them in a scrapbook that 1 nave con- cerning our classmates at Deming High SchooL” Miss Joan Marie Linvllle who has recently returned horn studying and touring Europe, Is now starring at the Metropolitan Opera. Chief Justice of the Supreme Court, Vernon linvllle, today declared the Fa 1 mouth Dam Project unconstitutional on the grounds that it would cover Robertson County. Emma Jean McCord will leave in two weeks for the position ofU.S. Ambassador to Russia. She hopes to improve relations between the two countries. Nancy Overbey has been appointed to the post of Superintendent of nurses in the new Mount Olivet hospital. Dr. Robert Berry is the Chief of Staff there. Mr. Orville Hamilton, after recovering from the '54 Seniors, took a position with the University of Kentucky and is now president of University. Bobby Gill is the president of the Farmers and Traders Bank. Helen Cole', young Boston University graduate, testified yesterday at Washington that for several years she had served as an undercover agent for the FBI, spying on the Labor Youth League. Harold Dryden, the Democratic nominee for presidency, has just appointed Wayne McConnell, president of General Motors, to be his campaign manager. Mr. Dryden has stated that if he wins the presidency, he will have Douglas Wright build a new White House and he will appoint Glenda Paynter the Secretary of Treasury. Kent Barnett has just been appointed U. S. delegate to the United Nations. (Written by Melvin Highlander, news correspondent for the NEW YORK TIMES.) The former Anna Ellis has just returned to her family a’fter winning the Mrs. America Title. Mademoiselle Bon-nie (Gough) returned yesterday from France with her new French creations, which will be on display at Sack's of Fifth Avenue. Logan Lenham, well-known poet, author, and lecturer, has been made professor of Journalism, at the University of Kentucky. Leslie McDowell is the coach of the U.K. Wildcats. Danell Tucker has just returned from touring the U.S. with his CheerleadingClinic. He is going to demonstrate in Mount Olivet at the present. Philip. Inske has just been made president of the United Coal Industry. Glenn and Junior Cole have completed a gas station to add to their chain of gas stations. Bobby Henson, the Secretary of A griculture, has raised farm prices. Marie Henderson is the principal of Deming High School.

To Mr. Colvin, Mr. Moore, Mr. Hamilton, our sponsor, and all the other faculty members who have helped us to reach the goal of being Seniors, we leave our deepest appreciation, our sincerest thanks, and assurance that “they can’t all be this bad . We leave our homeroom on the stage to the next class to deserve it. We leave those ancient museum pieces. called typewriters, along with all the worries and gripes that go with them, to the Juniors. Individual bequests are as follows: Bonnnie Gough wills her ability to pitch softball to Marilyn Massey. Joan Linville leaves her ability to reach “high C“ to Ruth Ginn. Helen Cole wills “the Fords in her future (and past) to Mary Lou Insko. Emma Jean McCord wills her good figure to Delrina Linville. Bobby Berry leaves his basketball manager's job to Donald Henson. Anna Ellis wills her chauffeur to Phyllis Orme. To Lewis Linville, Glenda Paynter leaves her treausrer’s job. Nancy Overbey wills her Farm Bureau Queen title to Doris Jean Cooper. Marie Henderson wills “a certain Senior boy to Joyce Fulton. To Ann Burns goes Bobby Henson’s ability to hit “homers”. Leslie McDowell wills his seat on the balcony to Tommy Owens. Vernon Linville leaves his ability to avoid girls to Hiram Clough. To Lacy Rogers goes Bobby Gill's physique. Wayne McConnell's ability to set” tacks goes to Billy Buchanan. Glenn Cole and Douglas Wright leave their duets to Chris Wright and Carole Insko. Harold Dryden wills his good eyesight to Royce French. Philip Insko leaves his ability to drive to Nancy Hale. Darrell Tucker leaves his cheerleader's job to Billy Sims. Logan Lanham wills his perfect attendance record” to Carolyn Massey. Junior Cole leaves his ability to be late for school and get by with it to Ronnie Clark. Melvin Highlander wills his column in the T. D. to a certain Junior girL To this, our last Will and Testament, we the Seniors do hereby affix our signatures.
