Troph Taken In Big Memorial Day Win . . . Memorial Day was full of exciting and enjoyable events, but one was when De1ton's own Panthers scored their victory over Gull Lake. The game was perhaps the most exciting of the entire season. The score teetered back and forth with one team ahead then the other. But when the game ended at 8-7, De1ton's favor, there was no question that the Panthers deserved the winner's tro- phy after the hard -fought battle. Senior Doug Campbell, orginally the team catcher, turned to pitching this year and did a fantastic job for the Panthers. His most notable accomplishment came when he pitched a no-hitter, Doug, a 3-year man, shared the pitcher's mound with junior Iim Stoneburner, Iohn Conine, known for his long home run ball, was a 4-year man on theteam, He made All-KVA for 3 years for third base, IOS
