' What we consider to be the zenith of progress at Delta State College will no doubt appear as ' out of date to those who teach and learn here in 2000 A.D. as the above picture, made when Delta State College was Delta State Teachers College, appears to you in 1960-61. To those who know Delta State College only as the thriving institution it is today, be assured that much has preceded to make this possible, just as much will be required for the preservation and furtherance of Delta State College.
