Associate Editor JUAiNITA WOLFE, Business Manager F r w o r d Education moves ever forward with a keen eye on the future. Educated people move freedom forward. At Delta State College, we are educating today for an educated tomorrow. This annual is designed to help you re-live all the challenges, accomplishments and friendships at DSC. It would take several volumes, rather than this small one, to depict each event of the school term, 1959-60. Through the events recorded in this book, we hope the reader will be able to recall the pleasant emotions and the many experiences that we were not able to portray. The purpose of the 1960 BROOM is to keep alive the memories of the year by portraying some of the salient points of this school year. One can look through it, later in life, and recall the happy moments of his college year. As you look through the pages of this book, remember the first time you walked through the doorway to college life and be proud that you chose Delta State. Oh, Delta State, We cling to the Memories Dedication MRS. MILLER At the close of the Spring Quarter of 1959. three women retired from positions at Delta State College.
