President Delta State College Dr. William Marion Kethley during his years as president of Delta State has played a leading role in the development and progress of the school. Under his leadership, new build- ings and new curricula have been added. Student enrollment has increased. Delta State Teachers College has become Delta State College with increased attention to non-teaching fields as well as continued emphasis on the development of teachers. Dr. Kethley ' s sincere friendship toward the students and his intense interest in the betterment of the college have won the admiration and respect of all Delta Statesmen. 12
