Delta State Teachers College One of the unforgettable influences of the life at Delta State is the spirit of the school, a good part of which emanates from its location in the heart of the Mississippi Delta. There is a certain warmth of spirit, a genuineness of feeling, and a hospitality and friendliness that becomes our students and makes itself a part of our campus life. There is no place like the Delta, and we, who are fortunate to have our lot cast here, pass the brimming cup of hospitality from our own generation of students and faculty to the unending procession of those who are yet to come.
