in II Delta Scare ' s athletic life is centered in Whit- field Gymnasium. Girls ' physical education, which consists of sports, dancing, and intramural games, plays an impor- tant role in campus ac- tivities. Recreational fa- cilities, such as bad- minton, ping pong, and shuffleboard are open to all students. There is an old-fashioned square dance here one night a week. The tennis courts, which are newly equipped for night use, and an outdoor swimming pool add to the recreational opportunities at Delta State. In Scott Dining Hall tasty meals are served under the supervision of trained dietitians. Meals are served cafeteria style.
