ETHEL CAIN GLADYS CASTLE DEDICATION The staff of the 1951 BROOM dedicates this book to MISS ETHEL CAIN and MISS GLADYS CASTLE. Miss Cain, who is Head of the Department of Health and Physical Education, has been a member of the faculty of Delta State since 1931 and has, throughout these years, done much to develop the Physical Education Department and to bring recog- nition to the department and, consequently, to our college. Miss Castle is an alumna of Delta State, of the class of 1926. Immediately after graduation she entered upon her duties as secretary to the Dean of the Faculty and has continued in that capacity during the intervening years. She has taken a personal interest in all of the students with whom she has come in contact and has always been ready to help them. We, in dedicating this book to these lovely ladies, wish to turn the limelight on them for they have been guiding lights of inspiration for the students of Delta State.
