DEDICATION Students seldom find a member of the faculty who can command their admiration, inspire their loyalty, and hold their friendship more than does Miss Evelyn Allen Hammett. As professor, speaker, poet, director of student activities, she has brought honor and distinction to Delta State and has won for herself a permanent place in the hearts of the stu- dents she has taught. In recognition of Miss Hammett ' s at- tainments we respectfully dedicate to her the 1946 BROOM.
