School teaching is a great adventure — worthy of the strong in mind and the pure in heart. As the teachers of today think and do, so will the children of tomorrow be. There is at the command of men no agency other than the schools to bring children into vital relations with the heritage of the past and set the stage for the new born experiences of expectant souls. Teachers colleges are dedicated to the task of making teachers worthy of sitting in at the meeting place of mind and matter and of witnessing there the renaissance of a new freedom as children struggle under friendly guidance to solve their own perplexing problems.
