CAROLYN HARVEY Aside from thinking everything ' s neat , Carlie is one of Delta ' s best cheer- leaders. Every day she comes from the green and white high school district on the mountain to attend the best red and white. She also manages to donate some of her time to yearbook staff and U.N. club. PAT LEWANDOWSKI Pat, commonly known as Cousin Pearl is the band ' s secretary-treasurer. When she ' s not dropping money all over the hall floors, she can be seen practising her clarinet in room 400 with the band president hang- ing over her shoulder. MIKE HESS Mike is known as the strong silent type and aspires to be a priest in the Good Shepherd Monastery of Flushing, Florida. Avoiding every kind of vice and keeping his virtue, Mike is well-loved by his classmates. GARRYMEILER Known to his friends as Mowze, hi born loser. After graduating he pla retire to Falcon-Hurst where he ' ll i ■ the fun and profit. VERA JUERGENS This petite brunette can be seen at Mac. dances or just studying at home. Vera is a quiet German Fraulein who aspires to be an airline hostess for Lufthansa. Between playing piano, sewing her own clothes, and cooking. Vera finds time for bombing around in V.W. ' s, ALEX MOCHNER DAVE KIDNEY King Arthur spends his time counting pink V.W. ' s, holding impromptu seances, and passing weird little slips of paper in the hall. Editor and beloved Chief of yearbook staff, his favourite saying is Oh George, still another note from Guenevere , and he is forever getting transplanted in English for rea- sons unknown. TERRY RIZZO Terry who has a strange passion for black leather and Doors can be seen working in the cafeteria pouring drinks . Usually saying Awe Neat . She and Janice can always be found romping around the city. After finishing school she hopes to return, only she will be giving the orders, detentions, lectures, homework .... LESLIE ARNOLD When she ' s not distracting the vice-president in English class, she can be seen hurrying to Room 400, (late as usual), dragging her poor but heavy saxophone behind her and screaming The sun did it really! DEBBY SOLOMON Debby ' s ambition for the future is to be a social worker for Over Privileged children. She spends all year waiting for Port Sydney ' s Snowmobiling Carnival. She can often tie seen admiring army uniforms. BILL STEWART When Bill isn ' t working hard to improve his marks, especially French, he is usually prowling the streets at night. He has proved to be a nice guy (a good neighbour Sam}. Future plans are un- known and unlikely. - SUSAN BAGSHAW When Sue is not dropping her clarinet in the music room, she can usually be heard laughing through her nose in the silence of History class. She can ' t see a thing without her glasses but it does not matter because she prefers blind dates and Mac men. PAUL BAILEY Paul ' s ambitions are to complete a polymer course at Ryerson. He enjoys badminton and is a Junior Achievement member. Get- ting his dune buggy running and sweating it . Viola ' s Math class pose present proble LIS WACHNUIK Miss Twiggyfarrow of 12-5-8 has ambitions of becoming an elementary school teacher and getting married. Her assets include one boyfriend-T.L.W., alias Milt the Monster who does 80 mph in park and one well-known, well- liked, over 30 brother-in-law. She is expert at suggesting her friends have parties and eating B.B.Q. potato chips. 12.9 GLORIA WRIGHT Glor or Big G , as she is affection- ately known by a few of her friends, scours the halls in search of recruits for the H.E. Club. Her weekend work at the gas station keeps her busy and giggling. CHRIS ALLCOCK Chris ' s ambitions are (he hopes), to finish high school and make a career of teaching, after completing university. His interests include art, reading and pop ROB FRASER Rob or Blobby Fraser passes his idle hours putting out an Omnia, or swimming the Canal in January or reading mystic cults. He is proficient in French and puts his poems in Omnia ' s Literary Supplement. Going on exchanges to Quebec or just read- ing the Times wastes his fine time. RICK GUSPODARYK • no obit

- LORIE SCHOTT Lorie has a dislike for those who mis- pronounce her name, especially teachers. She can be seen running every noon hour to the cafeteria to save a table even though she doesn ' t eat. Lorie is aimed for a career in physical education. She supports Delta ' s team with her cheers. TERRY TAYLOR Also known as a mad artist he continues his never-ending boycott of barbers. Upon graduating he plans to return Delta to what it formerly was {A Vacant Lot). EMILIOSEPIC Emilio Sepic says nothing for his obit. The reason, is that he prefers to be remembered for his deeds, which are few, rather than for his witty sayings, which also are few. ALAN TONE As our Vice-President, BIG AL can fre- quently be seen in front of the camera with beautiful girls. Active in sports, he played a big part on our football and basketball teams, only taking time out to gawk at the cheerleaders with those baby blues. NORA-LYN STEEVES Here lies Nora-Lyn who hitchhiked once too often. Her days at Delta were filled with happiness and sorrow. She enjoyed working for Lampadion, Omnia and Social Committee but alas her precious time for us has been used up. What the next adventure holds only she knows. FRANK SZEWCZYK Frank ' s ambitions are to further his education by going to Waterloo to be- come an engineer and win a poker game at least once at Joe ' s. A member of the Chess Club, Frank also likes to play hockey. His favourite class is Mr. Allison ' s Relaxation Period. BETH SZEWCZYK Beth hopes to make an archaelogical finding in Peru one day. Her time is consumed by running the school through Omnia, Yearbook Staff, Central Exec., Geography Club, Science Club, U.N. Club, and Junior Achievement. NANCY ZAVITZ Sempter Parata est nomine secunda Nancy. She is noted for her bright smile and crazy familiar laugh. Her latest hobby has been replaced by her exciting trips to Toronto and U. of W. One day Nancy hopes to teach the little tots their ABC ' s while skiing down the Alps. 12.13 LINDA ARCHIBALD Linda, one of our cheerleaders, accidentally found her cheering uniform in the trunk of a certain blue Corvair. After graduating, she will join R.C. at Stelco and there they will spend their lunch hours together. - ' » . ■ :-) EVELYN BENSON Evelyn ' s ambition in life is to work in a hospital. Bennie is living proof that good things come in small packages. Most of the time she ' s very nicely wrapped.
