WARREN COOPER Fastspike (as Waren is known to some of his teammates) is a member of Delta Senior Champions Volleyball Team. Future plans are to attend H.C.I, to further his education and then go to Southern California, to pick fruit. PANFILO Dl PIETRO Panfilo is neither hung up by a Fren complex nor by the World Nihilist Party. His favourite saying is: I Do Smoke . What he doesn ' t smoke we don ' t know. He plans to become a silent movie star, a drafted pacifist or anything else that comes along. JOHN FALLOON Big John or Stretch . This shy and retiring lad known as PRES to a loyal band of supporters (especially J.B.), will go far? Member of Sc. Club, Geog. Club, UIN. Club, and Grad. Committee. When asked of future plans he replied: Chemical Engineering at McMaster. DOROTHY HAGEL Dorothy is known for her large desserts at lunch. She enjoys tennis and has a natural dislike for Geography. She plans to become a kindergarten teacher but now she prac- tices as a Sunday School teacher. Dorothy is also a member of Delta ' s Red Cross Club. GEORGE HARRIS George is the only male instructor of the YWCA at Delta. He is a world champion and can be found anytime either at the Y or at the pool. His future lies in Recreation and recreating the things he ' s wrecked. LINDA HILLOCK One of the mysteries which surrounds Linda is how she manages to get from Mac to Alligator in a matter of minutes. (Don ' t tell anybody but I saw her polishing her thumb in Math last period on Friday). Her real desire is to nurse a certain Mr. X . BRIAN FLORESCO Also known as Zero to his friends. He was a member of Delta ' s Senior Football Team. An avid skier he idolizes Nancy Greene while his life ambition is to ski the treacherous Ottawa St. Access (after dark). ! HENRY FRANIA Here lies a lump. A lump like all other lumps. Product of four years ingestion- four years regurgitation. Immersed in apathy, straight-jacketed, stifled -a successful four years. But wait! See the lump grimace. See the lump struggle. Failure-the lump has survived. He rises. DOUG ISAAC Upon graduation Doug plans to spend his days tumbling around Europe. Until then this elite member of Phil ' s and D.O.B.A. is content in having one for the road at P.R. ' s . Meanwhile Doug can be heard muttering in the halls, There must be an easier way . M CONNIE GREENWOOD As Hamilton ' s most popular cheer- leader, Connie hasn ' t yet straightened out her athletic schedule with her busy date schedule. Also our G.A.C. Chair- man, she prefers doing cart-wheels down the hall to walking. Ultimately she intends to be a Sneaker Teacher in some healthy high school. Wk WAYNE KING Wayne is new at Delta. Last year Nelson was his home. On Delta ' s Football Days he sneaks away to wa tch Burlington games to support his former school. Wayne plays a lot of hockey and is a typical girl watcher.

RHONDA SNOW - no obit 12.7 DEBORAH ASHTON Debbie, the quiet member of 12.7, has been kept busy with the Red Cross Club and Campus Life (along with passing). After school Debbie plans to make millions. LORRAINE STRYKOWSKI Panic-button Lorraine becomes terrified when she forgets to do an assignment. Often comes to gym class with coffee and ketchup on her sneakers. Was always seen out supporting the football team. In the future she sees H.C.I, and McMaster. TED THOMAS - no obit fc FRANCES BERRY Frances plans to attend H.C.I, next year and then further her education at Teachers ' College. Her main concern at 8:30 a.m. is to find out if she remembered to do all her homework. She gets provoked when people spell her name wrongly. She belongs to Delta ' s Red Cross Club. JIM THOMAS He ' s the Einstein of our math class - fu- ture ambitions: win poker at least once at Joe ' s, and win the Montreal lottery. RICHARD UZWENKO Ozzie , as some friends call him, hopes to put Mono out of business with his Stereo equipment. He enjoys music, flying and reading. His future plans include attending University. % J LOUISE BOHAYCHUK A fan of the slope and lover of ice cream, Louise is a loyal student. Loyal to lavish living and lavish love. Louise wishes to marry a lawyer. Her motto-Live, Love, Laugh and Be Happy. While scheming to conquer the world she will attend a univei sity of her choice. ANDREW CAMANI Andy, better known as Roadrunner , hopes to get out of grade 12 in one year. Besides track, he is a member of the B.A.C. and Sports Editor for Omnia. His ultimate doom: ending up in a glue factory for old DIANE VIGER Although Diane is not active in school sports her interests are wide and plenti- ful outside of school. Her pet peeve is having her last name mispronounced. Diane hopes to come back to Delta as a future History Teacher. ยป BRIAN COOK - no obit NEIL WARREN Neil the homework doer-the period before! Known by teachers as the quiet and innocent one, but does he ever have them fooled. Neil says he won ' t be finished his education for another five or six years and plans to go this far, or even farther, no matter what.

JANICE LIGGETT Jan is continually trying to shrink her cheerleader sweater to fit properly. She amuses the class with her jokes and hopes to successfully complete one experiment in chemistry without break- ing a test tube. She plans for the future to make freshmen high school girls sweat it out in gym class. cathy Mcdonald Cathy is a pretty quiet blonde (get it?) who has been an enthusiastic member in our Concert Band and folk singers club. As of now, her future is undecided, but she has a special interest in Peterborough, Ontario. SYD NADEL Our class politician continues to argue on any subject especially that there is one superior race. He has been active in school football, volleyball, and basket- ball. Syd wishes to attend university in Israel and become a shepherd who makes nice with his neighbours. MARCEL PUCAI - no obit OLGASHUSTYK Chairman of the U.N. Club, member of the Social Committee, the Yearbook Staff, and one of the most active participants at football games, Olga is always ready to support Delta. In the future she hopes to come back to Delta and teach History. JANET SHYNAL Janet Shynal is petite but full of energy. She often gets criticized for her big brown eyes. When not spending her hard-earned money at Yorkdale Plaza, she is running between Yearbook Staff meetings and Folk Club meetings of which she is Vice- President. DAVID SUMNER With that firm, steel-jawed look of authority Dave stands out in a crowd. He always has interesting bits of poetry for his friends to read. Dave was condemned by Ann Landers, and being a courageous fellow, condemned her right back. JOHN TODOROVIC John took part in school football, track and gymnastics. His interests lie in Geography, History and English and P.E. He hopes later to teach in some of these fields and maybe haunt the old halls of Delta. CAROL RONBECK This proud Deltonian finds little time for anything else when she gets wrapped up in her work at the Y and Kiwanis. She looks forward to her weekends and a certain bus from Guelph. In the future Carol plans to change the human race as a social worker. STEVE SAVICH Steve is untrusted by the area girls so much that he has to do his hunting out of town (Waterdown High). Plans for a Forestry degree and Bev. member of D.O.A. and enjoys the facilities of Happy Rock . LINDA SHAKESHAFT Shaky is the blonde bomber of 12.7 who spends most of her time trying to get her dates straight. (Poor Wayne). By the end of this year she will have broken every test tube in chemistry. In future she plans to teach retarded children. MARG TOZER Marg is that swinging chick who can usually be seen hopping around Mac before, during and after the weekend. Many people flock around this vivacious damsel to share her philosophy -to live is to laugh, love and be happy. Future plans - university.
