CAOMRIDES BROTHER = Blacks Exhibit Mistory This year's Black History Month Program was a joint ef- fort of Delta College and the Saginaw Public School System. The symbol of the program was the ' Pyramid' -the sign of know- ledge. Some of the events in- cluded competition in art for elementary through senior high black students, creative writ- ing and Black History Exams for junior and senior high stu- dents, and Forensic competi- tion for the senior high. Other events included lectures, readings, history and art ex- hibitions, seminars, and con- certs.

Talents Expressed The highlight of Black History Week was the talent show that took place February 18th in the Delta gymnasium. There was a combination of bands, danc- ers, and singers, including the Saginaw High School Soul Choir. There was a total of sixteen different talents pre- sented. The event was a spectacular one, and was well-supported by a large and enthu- siastic crowd of some 1,300 people. ee SS ne eS a a Te ea 1. The crowd awaits the talent show. 2. The Dawkins Incorporated Dancers do their thing by dancing to Bus Stop. 3. The show opened with the dance group called Satina and the Marvellette Dan- cers. 4. The Saginaw High School Soul Choir came in full force with approximately 5Q members .-
