Delta College hosted week-long events during Chicano Awareness Week, held November 17 thru the 22, featuring food, fest- ivals, and fun. Perform- ing before a packed gym- nasium, members of the Fiesta Folklorico enter- tained with traditional dances. Other events throughout the week included; a tortilla eat- ing contest, the Maria- chis band, anda guest Speaker, Dr. Feliciano Rivera. On November 17, talented boys and girls, called the Xochiquetal Dancers portrayed the history of Mexico in dance.
