In these areas the Superintendent finds many rewarding experiences, especially when progress can be seen, for when achievement in these areas occurs, a better school results. I hope that each member of the Class of '73 finds happiness in work, whatever his chosen field, and will remember the statement: Success is a journey, not a goal. I Some of themost important remembrances that you keep will be of your high school days. To each of you Seniors, this annual will grow to mean more as the years go by The work and preparation that you have placed in your school years will follow you closely in the years to come. There is a Chinese proverb which states, We stamp our own value upon ourselves, and we cannot expect to pass for more. I feel this statement makes a good point in that we determine what type of life we will have by the effort we put into it. George J.
