' Student Council continues to be active at DHS by supporting both the school and community. Traditionally, the group is instrumental in organization of the Home- coming Parade in the Fall. lt is also suppor- tive of the Honor Society's bloodmobiles. One of this year's ongoing projects is a food tasting committee which works in conjunction with the cafeteria staff. use Culture Club Growth Mushrooms l:'rO W A af Se c. v' E-'lt I ug H13 i 1 9, BNHS The Cultural Club was established in 1977 for the purpose of allowing students to visit cultural landmarks in the S. jersey vicinity. Monies raised through fundraisers defray the cost of trips to the theater, ballet, museums and foreign food restaurants. One important goal is that students will continue to visit these places after they have graduated from DHS. Since good news travels fast, the club proudly boasts the distinction of having the largest group participation of any extracur- ricular club or organization in the school. lonor Society 84 Medical Explorers Berve School and Community The National Honor Society, an organization of students who have demonstrated charac- ter, service, scholarship, and leadership con- tinues to be the driving force behind the suc- cessful bloodmobiles at DHS. Because of their support and hard work, the American Red Cross can count on the DHS community for almost 200 pints of blood from combined vis- its in November and May.
