Approximately 142 DCHS students are attempting to learn at least one new language other than their own native tongue - English. Mr. Alvarez and Ms. Lewellen present many new approaches to make learning fun. Board races, Scrabble, Bingo, Buzz, and numerous other games all intrigue foreign language students. Learning the grammar, vocabulary, slang, and culture of other countries broadens one's horizons when one ventures into the written and spoken speech and customs of another land.
