ACQUIRI N l That last minute cramming for an exam, doing research for a term paper, the struggle to understand Latin, algebra or chemistry, the frantic rush to get assignments turned in by the dead-line, all these hectic activities play a great part in the acquiring of knowledge-the quest for understanding. Although our academic life can get pretty hec- tic at times, most of us wouldn't trade places with anyone because we realize that after we have passed through these portals and then gone away from our beloved high school, we will be able to use our knowl- edge to carve a better place in the world for ourselves.

Of no lesser importance is the art of making friends, friends that will outlast our high school days and become more meaningful as the years roll on. We can- not forget the many friendships we have cultivated at Delphi High School and all the wonderful times we have had with our friends. As time moves on, we will expect to make new friends, but our dearest friends will always be those from our days at D.H.S. So as we continue and conclude our high school career and go out into life, we will have a treasury filled with friendships to remember. The day of the nctory dance

During our high school days we first begin to think of our future. In this modern world, where so many iobs and opportunities are open to us, we sometimes find it difficult to decide lust what path of life we will follow. But whatever way we decide to go, our ,first preparations are in high school. With wise guidance, careful study, and deep thought, we will be able to prepare for a successful future.
