QMECCMING HIGHLIGHT The traditional parade in the afternoon, featur- ing candidates from each sponsoring organization, began the elaborate Homecoming festivities for the 1956 football season. Climaxed with the crowning of Queen Sue Braudaway by Mayor Roy Clauser, our Homecom- ing proved to be a unique event. Sparkling new convertibles replaced the colorful floats of past years. The High Steppersf' in their new whites purchased for the event, added a delightful back- ground for the Queen's crowning. The gracious Queen Sue, sponsored by the Senior Class is shown above with her lovely Court Attendants, Helen Crosby sponsored by GAA, Pat Hufford sponsored by the Freshman Class, and Barbara Martin sponsored by F.H.A.
