Miss Maudie's teaching in the first and second grades has given many of us the foundation that is necessary for academic success and for other life endeavors. Miss Maudie began teaching in Biardstown and never changed schools, only going with the students through the process of consolidation to Midway and finally to Delmar. Continuous teaching in primary classes may have seemed routine at times, but with each new group there were standards to set and goals to achieve . However, knowing the boys and girls at .this level gave her an excellent opportunity to see the fruits of her labors as each pupil went on through and out into life . For all these years of dedication, we salute you with the 1974 La-Del. Q Yf fig?
