His vacant place at home and school can by no one else be filled. God took this precious one from us, We must not ask him whyg But we will meet him some sweet day in heaven's home on high. I-Ie suffered, oh, so many hours, And it hurt so much to see him go But our will and God's will, are not the same you know. 3 I-Ie had so many, many friendsg They would be hard to count. And he was such a jolly one With everyone about. I-le was so nice to everyone, And especially to me. Whenever he passed me, any time, A hand waved out to me. We often wonder why things must be thus and sog but just remember, in God's word, in time we all must go. Beyond the setting of life's sun When time will be no more, We'll meet dear Charley in that fair land and live for ever more. --Mrs, P.C. McElroy Annual Staff l . - . Manager Wyrlona Barkerg Assistant Editor, Steve Kaspaua Foreword The emphasis of the 1969 O cotillo is on the school and all the elements that go into a good education. Teachers in action are pictured, for what good is knowledge without someone to impart it? Students and classes are used as division pages since they are a vital part of school life. Our instructional surroundings are also emphasized, for a good environment in conducive to learning. The playground and clubs are pictured because recreation is also imperative to an all-around education. These are the elements that are emphasized in this 1969 Ocotillo We, the Ocotillo Staff hope that o ' , y u enjoy this annual and its memories of the past school year. ..
