THE DELHI HIGH SCHOOL BAND A BRIEF HISTORY Although young 1n years the Delh1 H1gh School Band has already f1l1ed a much needed spot 1n the l1fe and affalrs of the school Founded 1n 1946 under the d1rect1on of Mr Frank McKay, lt 1S now d1rected by Mr Harvey W Nelson In 1ts two years of ex1stence the band has offered a worthy hobby for all of the h1gh school and elementary school students mterested 1n mus1c Th1s year br1ll1ant red and wh1te un1forms were obta1ned The event was justly celebrated by a concert for the entlre town Yes we all agree the band f1l1s an 1mportant place 1n the Delh1 Hzgh School The school is deeply indebted to the town for its whole- hearted support.
