.7 Within this volume we have tried to record the essence of life at Delhaas to forever reminisce upon and deeply treasure. It is this spirit, nurtured by our smiles and our tears, ever present in the atmosphere of our school life, that we shall always remember buf can never regain. The echoes of the past create a harmonious symphony. Our hesitant footsteps cautiously began the climbg growing surer and more steady with each promotion, walking on- ward ever upward toward the goal of graduation. Reverberations of gladness and depression, success and failure, living and growing with friends, working and playing together, culminating in an achievement sense of mutual compatability, of belonging to our school, our friends, our community and our country. For future years it has been our humble attempt to capture the memories of our wonderful days at Delhaas in the following pages.
