FUTURE FAR ERS OF AMERICA The Young Farmers of Delevan Machias started a busy year with D V,VV W summer trips to Alfred and Camp Oswegatchie. Gold awards were won rrr 2 in judging dairy and poultry at Alfred. Clair Prutsman and Donald Jetter l 'F'AR' were at camp for a week with Mr. Smith. it , zz, ,V g At the county fair the boys won S200 in prizes, one trophy in poultry iv: judging and placed Q boys in state fair teams at Syracuse. 1g-: f Other activities in the year included one Emplre Farmer fCla1r Pruts- ,F manj, an enlarged seed sales campaign, planting 10, 000 trees and a Figi soil testing program with G. L. F. . ti 77.ltl Clair Prutsman and Peter Kittleson attended the national F. F. A. V ' f 1.. . convention in Kansas City and returned in time for Clair and Don jetter, ' County F . F.
