Naomi Baker We Honor When we hear the cliche, busy as a bee, we always think of Miss Baker, our School Nurse. It would be a tough assignment to follow her for even a day. She travels to the far ends of the school district, checking on illness and ab- sentees, not to mention the time she spends at the three school buildings ready to give her advice and assistance to those who come to school not feeling so well. With her cool hand and a few soothing words from her, our pains usually vanish. Those movies, which add so much to our individual classes and to school life in general, are all the result of Miss Baker's efficient handling of the Audio- Visual Department. The Staff wishes to honor Miss Baker with the 1953 edition of the FLASH in appreciation of her time and efforts so well spent in behalf of the school. 2

Duane Sproul Superintendent Bills, transportation, personnel, main- tenance, and numerous other problems confront the Board of Education at their monthly meetings at the various three school buildings. We appreciate what they are trying to do for the advancement of education in our school district.
