Life at D.H.S. can be summarized in three words, Work. Study. Play. Without work, nothing great is ever achieved. A. Lady Panthers win the title that they strived hard to obtain. B. Mr. Lightcap attempts to improve the knowledge of his students. C. Mrs. Dunbar has mastered the art of running a smooth office. D. Miss Lottie is always willing to give a little extra of her time, if needed. £. Mr. Bienvenu, are really working? F. Mrs. Dore is always busy. C. Mr. Broussard and Mr Leblanc help the Fresh- mans with their funds raiser. H. Mrs. Landry, it looks like you never finish your work. . Whats on the menu for today? J. Early season losses and injuries were overcome by strong will and determination. That victory was especially reward ing because it silenced many critics of our track program, and put to rest the idea that the Delcambre High School athlete did not have pride in himself. Our team had many individual stars, but the district championship was a complete team effort with everyone contributing his share to the total victory. The season itself began on a bumpy note, but hard work and dedication signaled steady improvement. The students and faculty would like to thank all of the great supporters of the program, and above all want to thank the young men who have given of themselves to represent their school.
