Advisor’s Message ------------------------- TEAMWORK = SUCCESS Through the combined efforts of the administrative staff, the faculty, and student body the Year- book Staff and I are able, once again, to present to the Delcambre community a memorable picture of the 1973-74 school year here at Delcambre High. However as staff advisor, I must acknowledge and give long deserved credit to the man who is always behind the scene. Without this man's constant co-operation, understanding, and inspiration we, the staff and I, could not hope to achieve our yearly aims and goals. Thank you,, Mr. Pershing Cashen, dear leader and co-worker for your counsel and patience during our many indecisive hours. To Catherine Landry, editor, congratulations for a most successful annual. She has on many occa- sions put aside her personal plans to carry out her responsibilities as yearbook editor. Her advice, co-operation, and efforts cannot be overstated. My sincere gratitude to a wonderful person and her staff for creating such a wonderful accomplishment. To our Advertisers, the ''backbone'' of this work, a million thanks. Without your encouragement and support, we would never have progressed throughout the years. Our annual has always existed and will continue to exist through your generosity. I, along with the whole school community, ask for your continued support. In return, we will always present an annual that, you, our parents and sponsors, can well be proud of. Thank you, everyone, for letting me play a small pan in this most rewarding undenaking. Delma Meaux Jr. Yearbook Advisor 3
