Homecoming Bonfire NOVEMBER 1. 1973 Each year something special occurs on the eve of Homecoming at Delcambre High School. As the crackling fire roars upwards, faculty and students joins in the merriment of welcoming old graduates back to the campus. This once a year event brings back pleasant thoughts of former school years. Old friends are brought together in a new bond of fellowship. There's a lump in the throat and every heart picks up an extra beat as the Pep Squad and Mr. Belanger s outstanding band keeps up the tempo. The fire dies down but not the enthusiasm, for every player knows that tomorrow could be his finest hour.
