HENRY E. DUX Guidance Counselor FRANCES I. I-IANKINS Dean of Girls QUIQDCQ New to our school system this year, Mr. Dux came with a B.S. in Education from Kutztown and an M. S. from Rutgers. He has had experience in public school teach- ing and counseling both in the states of Pennsylvania and New Jersey. Mr. Dux has worked with each senior to assist with plans for the future whether those plans included college, armed forces, or a local job. His greatest concern has been to encourage students to think for themselves . Interviewing each seventh grade girl at the beginning of the school year was one of Miss Hankins' duties. Additional confer- ences with other girls were also scheduled. While supervising the cafeteria during four lunch shifts, Miss I-Iankins had many oppor- tunities for individual guidance. Miss Han- kins also taught two classes of Problems of Democracy and was advisor to the Yearbook Club and the Junior Historians.
